Bay Media’s commitment to creating truly dynamic environments, and providing economical, sustainable solutions, continues long after campaigns come to a close.
In collaboration with the communities in which we operate, we are pioneering localised, low-transport, low-waste recycling. Our materials are ethically produced and sourced, as we seek to support the local businesses supporting us.
The 16,500 outdoor banners used for the London 2012 Olympics were 100% recyclable and PVC-free.
Bay Media have invented and patented a finishing technique for outdoor banners that removes the need for plastic or metal eyelets, whilst making them almost 3 times stronger. We have eliminated the need to remove or cut around small fittings after use, maximising recyclable surface material and reducing processing times.
In collaboration with the Winner of the Living Labs Global Award 2013, Bay Media has contributed towards Waste House, a fully-sustainable housing development solution. Waste House uses our very own banners for waterproofing, insulation and weather protection during construction.
Building sustainable communities is a driving force for the Bay Media team, and we’re always on the lookout for new projects. If you’re involved in a recycling project and would like to discuss collaborating with us please get in touch.
