The Client

University Campus Milton Keynes (UCMK) is a campus of the University of Bedfordshire and operates as its satellite campus. UCMK is a partnership between Milton Keynes Council and the University of Bedfordshire. 

The University of Bedfordshire were looking to raise awareness about UCMK courses and attract new students to the university. They hoped to significantly increase visibility of UCMK over a short period of time, and so they reached out to Bay Media to discuss a large, short-term, university campus advertising campaign.

The UCMK campaign involved the placement of 63 banners around Milton Keynes. The banners were strategically placed in high-traffic areas to ensure maximum visibility and impact. Six banners were placed outside Milton Keynes Central station, six outside Stadium MK, and 13 along Saxon Gate, adjacent to UCMK. The remaining banners were placed in carefully chosen locations to ensure excellent coverage and visibility across Milton Keynes.

The campaign was designed to be short-term and high-impact, with the goal of creating a buzz around UCMK and driving new student recruitment.

The high number of banners placed around Milton Keynes created a strong visual presence for UCMK, which helped to increase brand awareness and recognition.
